Kevin grew up in rural Sampson County where he was taught the value of hard work and how to persevere despite obstacles. Kevin attended Barton College in Wilson, North Carolina where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion and Philosophy. He graduated Cum Laude in 2016 with a Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University School of Law in Durham, North Carolina.
As an Associate Kevin’s practice primarily focuses on community association representation, including collections and landlord-tenant litigation. Before joining Brownlee Whitlow & Praet, PLLC in March 2018 Mr. Wright’s previous position was with a Firm in Durham, NC as an Associate Attorney where he dealt with a substantial amount of consumer debt collection litigation. Prior to that, Kevin contracted at Womble, Carlyle, Sandridge & Rice, LLP in Durham, NC where he was responsible for performing e-discovery in preparation for litigation.
When not practicing law Kevin’s outside interests are cooking, spending time with his family, watching sporting events, reading and exploring new restaurants throughout the Triangle area.
