Patrick is originally from Princeton, New Jersey. He attended East Stroudsburg University, Pennsylvania where he graduated in 2013 and obtained a bachelor’s degree in History. He then attended the University of Edinburgh, Scotland and graduated in 2013 with a Master’s in History. Thereafter, Patrick moved to Raleigh, North Carolina in 2015 with his then girlfriend, now wife, and attended North Carolina Central University School of Law where he graduated in 2019 earning his Juris Doctor. During his time at NCCU School of Law, Patrick was President of the Elder Law Pro Bono Project, where he provided estate planning to elder residents of Durham County, North Carolina.
After passing the North Carolina Bar Exam in July 2019, Patrick worked as an attorney for a real estate law firm. There, he predominantly oversaw residential real estate closings, mortgage refinances, and resolved title disputes. He also worked in estate planning, estate administration, and real estate litigation.
Patrick joined the Brownlee Whitlow & Praet team as an associate attorney in October of 2020. His practice primarily focuses on community association representation, including collections and landlord-tenant litigation.
When not practicing law Patrick enjoys spending his days with his son Kal, his wife Cara, and his dog, Bo.
